
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating after a man was stabbed on a Lower East Side street on Monday night, authorities said.
The attack happened in the vicinity of East 4th Street and 2nd Avenue at about 9:36 p.m., officials said.

According to police, a 39-year-old man was stabbed in the chest before the suspect fled in an unknown direction.
EMS rushed the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
The suspect was described the suspect as a man with dreadlocks.
