
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for two suspects wanted in connection to a violent armed robbery that occurred earlier this month in the Bronx, officials said.
At about 2:40 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, a 65-year-old man was walking in front of 2565 Barnes Ave. in Allerton, when he was approached by two suspects.

One of the suspects displayed a firearm while demanding money. The victim was repeatedly hit in the head with the firearm while the suspects removed his wallet containing multiples forms of identification and a debit card.
The suspects fled the location northbound on Barnes Avenue.
The victim suffered minor injuries and did not require any medical attention on the scene.
