Man, 76, punched in face at random in the Bronx

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a man wanted for punching a senior in a random Bronx attack earlier this month, authorities said Thursday.

It happened at approximately 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1, inside of 675 Morris Ave. in Melrose when the suspect punched a 76-year-old man in the face, causing him to fall to the ground.

The suspect fled on foot to parts unknown.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln for serious injuries.
