Man, 79, knocked to ground during Queens street robbery, duo sought: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for two men wanted for knocking a 79-year-old man to the ground during a robbery on a Queens street earlier this week.

Officials said the incident happened at approximately 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, when the suspects approached the victim in the vicinity of 81st St. and Eliot Ave. in Middle Village.

The men then proceeded to forcibly knock the victim to the floor and stole his wallet containing $1,000 before fleeing on foot.

The victim sustained minor lacerations and was treated at the scene.
