NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 79-year-old man was spat on and punched aboard an MTA bus in the Bronx on Saturday afternoon, police said Monday as they released video of the suspect.

An unidentified disorderly male spit at the victim as he sat on a BX12 MTA bus near Bartow Avenue and Edson Avenue shortly before 3:30 p.m., authorities said.
The 79-year-old then approached the suspect, who then punched the victim in the face and fled on foot.
Police said the victim was transported by EMS in stable condition to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Jacobi.
