“To all my friends and family: I apologize for y’all having to hear this crazy stuff,” Wiggins said in his video. “It’s absolutely not true.”

He went on to call the accusations “sick” in the Facebook live, which was first reported on by The Bronx Daily.

Authorities on Friday announced they were searching for Wiggins and claimed he was the man who raped the girl inside a Bronx home on Gerard Avenue on two occasions.

The first incident happened on May 9, 2021, and the second occurred on Nov. 5, police said. Wiggins is accused of threatening the victim with a knife during the second assault.

The girl suffered a laceration to her arm in the second incident and was treated at a nearby hospital.

After turning himself in, Wiggins was charged with rape, assault, criminal sexual activity, unlawful imprisonment, forcible touching, acting in a manner injurious to a child, criminal possession of a weapon and other related crimes.

He was scheduled to be arraigned in Bronx Criminal Court on Wednesday.
