Patrick Serrano, 26, was arrested Saturday night and charged with attempted rape, sexually motivated assault, sexually motivated strangulation and sex abuse.

The NYPD’s Special Victims Squad had been searching for weeks for a man seen attacking the woman in horrifying video from the July 30 attack in Bushwick.

The 30-year-old victim was walking her dog near Woodbine Street and Ridgewood Place around 8:25 a.m. when the man came up from behind, put her in a chokehold and forced her to the ground, police said.

The man continued to strangle her and began to grind his body against hers as she was on the pavement, according to police, who said he eventually fled on foot.

The woman suffered injuries to her neck and face. She refused medical attention at the scene but was later treated at Interfaith Medical Center, police said.
