NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police Monday night released new video footage of an attacker seen beating a 65-year-old woman on a Manhattan street while making anti-Asian remarks, leaving her with a serious injury that required hospitalization, the NYPD said.
The new video shows the woman, who was in front of a building on West 43rd Street, near 9th Avenue in Midtown, around 11:40 a.m. on Monday, when the attacker approached her and started punching and kicking her, knocking her to the ground, police said.
One security guard looks on as the attack happens, the video shows.
The man then made several anti-Asian statements to the woman and kicked her in the head several times, the NYPD said. He fled the scene after the attack, police said.
The woman was taken to NYU Langone Health with a serious injury, the NYPD said. She was listed in stable condition as of Monday evening, police said.

The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the attack, the department said.
