According to police, the 36-year-old victim was making a delivery on Allen Street near Rivington Street on the Lower East Side when Sean Cooper, 47, approached him and attempted to steal the e-bike around 3 a.m.

Cooper then brandished a knife and stabbed the man in the right thigh and upper back.

He ran off and was arrested at First Avenue and East Third Street, police said.

The 47-year-old was charged with robbery, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The Daily News reported that Cooper has a history of arrests dating back to 1993 — his most recent for a litany of petty larceny crimes.
