Video shows a massive emergency response on Eighth Avenue around 7:30 p.m. as crowds watched the man scale the newspaper’s 720-foot-tall headquarters.

The 31-year-old man made it 50 feet before taking out a knife, holding it to his throat and threatening to harm himself, according to the New York Post.

Emergency responders eventually got to him and brought him to safety.

He was taken to a hospital for an evaluation and faces charges of reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and trespassing.

The man was reportedly issued a bench warrant last week after he missed a court hearing for an alleged assault on a police officer.

He's accused of injuring the cop with a “two-by-four riddled with nails” on Aug. 18, sources told the Post. He was released on his own recognizance following his arraignment in that incident.

The man is only the latest person to scale the Times building. A few months ago, “Pro-Life Spider-Man” climbed the facade and hung anti-abortion banners.
