PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A 29-year-old man was ejected from his car and killed Sunday morning after the car was struck by an SUV on a New Jersey interstate, police said.

Luis Ramirez-Cano was driving west on I-80 near mile marker 43.8 in Parsippany-Troy Hills at 2:41 a.m. when his Corvette was hit by the SUV, New Jersey State Police spokesman Sgt. Philip Curry told NJ.com.

He suffered fatal injuries because of the crash, police said.

A Corvette passenger was taken to Morristown Medical Center to be treated for unknown injuries, officials said.

The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment. Police said their passenger was taken to St. Clare's Denville Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
