Man dies after being shot, run over by shooter's car in the Bronx

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 33-year-old man was run over after being shot in a fatal drive-by shooting in the Bronx Saturday morning, according to police.

The victim was shot on Kelly Street near Westchester Avenue in Foxhurst around 8:15 a.m. when a shooter in a tan sedan opened fire on him, officials said.

After shooting him in the chest, the attacker’s car ran him over and sped off.

Emergency responders rushed the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not yet made any arrests, and an investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
