VIDEO: Man exiting Bronx subway put in headlock, punched by duo during robbery

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for two men wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred at a Bronx subway station earlier this month, officials said.

According to police at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7, a 24-year-old man was exiting a northbound 6 train inside the 149th Street/Southern Boulevard subway station in Longwood when he was approached by the suspects.

They put the victim in a headlock, punched him multiple times, and stole his cellphone, headphones, and approximately $140, authorities said.

The suspects fled the station eastbound on 149th Street and the victim refused medical attention.

Officials are offering a reward of up to $3,500.
