NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials are searching for a gunman after a man was found fatally shot near a Brooklyn housing complex on Wednesday, authorities said.
At approximately 5:45 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot in front of 823 Ashford St. in East New York.
Upon arrival, police observed a 40-year-old ma with a gunshot wound to his back.
EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
