NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 48-year-old man was fatally shot in the head in South Jamaica Saturday night.

Police received reports of gunshots around Foch Boulevard and Guy R Brewer Boulevard near Baisley Pond Park just before 10 p.m.
When they arrived, officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS rushed him to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are withholding the victim’s identity until his family can be notified of his death.
No arrests have been made and the NYPD’s investigation is ongoing.
