
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A man was slashed to death near a park in Chinatown over the weekend, police said Monday as they announced an arrest in the killing.
The unidentified victim was stabbed at 104 Bayard St., across the street from Columbus Park, at 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
NYPD officers responding to a 911 call of an assault found the victim with a slash wound to his neck.
He was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was pronounced dead.
Huang Yu Feng, 49, was arrested Sunday afternoon and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
The NYPD hasn't yet identified the victim or said what may have led to the stabbing. An investigation is ongoing.
