
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating after a 58-year-old man was fatally struck in a hit-and-run in Brooklyn early Tuesday.
According to officials, at around 12:45 a.m., the unidentified victim was attempting to cross the intersection at Bayard Street and McGuiness Boulevard in Greenpoint when he was struck by a black Rolls Royce sedan.
He was transported to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
The Rolls Royce fled the scene.
The NYPD is searching for the driver as an investigation continues.
