Man who grabbed woman's buttocks, punched her on Brooklyn street sought by NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a suspect wanted for grabbing a woman's buttocks on a Brooklyn street then punching her in the face, authorities said.

The incident happened at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, in front of 1440 Flatbush Ave. in South Midwood, police said.

According to officials, a 23-year-old woman was walking at the location when she was approached from behind.

The suspect grabbed the victim's buttocks over her clothing without permission to do so, cops said.

He then punched the victim in the face, the NYPD said.

The suspect fled the location northbound on Flatbush Avenue on foot.

EMS transported the victim to Mount Sinai Brooklyn with minor injuries.
