NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was critically injured after he fell off a moving van on Sunday night in Queens, authorities said.
According to police, at around 7:20 p.m., the 32-year-old man was holding onto the outside of the van that was traveling eastbound on Metropolitan Avenue and fell off near 71st Avenue in Forest Hills.

The man struck his head after he fell to the ground, cops said. He was transported to Jamaica Medical Center with severe head trauma, and is listed in critical condition.
The van driver kept going, and police are searching for the driver.
An investigation remains ongoing.
