
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Thursday released a photo of a suspect accused of beating a man aboard a Bronx subway train last month, authorities said.
At about 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, police said a 69-year-old man became engaged in a verbal dispute with the suspect on the southbound platform of the 176th Street Subway Station in Morris Heights.
When the victim boarded a southbound 4 train, the suspect followed him onto the train and punched and kicked the victim’s face and body.
The suspect then exited the train at the Mt. Eden subway station and fled to parts unknown.
The victim sustained pain and swelling to his face and body as a result of the incident.
