NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man has died after he jumped in front of an oncoming subway train on the Upper West Side Friday, police said.

The victim, who has not been identified, lept into the path of the southbound 3 train as it entered the 96th Street station around 11:40 a.m.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The MTA said 1/2/3 trains are running with delays in both directions after police completed their investigation of the incident.
