At about 6:35 a.m. on July 24, the victim and an unidentified man got into an argument at a Shell gas station on Clarkson Avenue near Rockaway Parkway, according to the police.

The suspect then punched the 46-year-old in the head and struck him multiple times with a screwdriver around his torso, video shows.

According to the police, the victim had one puncture wound, which caused his lungs to collapse because of the trauma.

The man then fled on a Citi Bike and was last seen travelling southbound on Rockaway Parkway.

EMS responded and transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in critical but stable condition.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
