NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 20-year-old man recently out on bail over a gun bust was fatally shot in the head in front of a Bronx bodega early Wednesday morning.

Police said it happened just after 4 a.m. in front of the Deli Grocery store at 717 East 187th St. in Belmont.
Jayshua Nivar suffered two gunshot wounds to the head and a gunshot wound to the hip.
He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Nivar was arrested on June 17 for possessing a loaded firearm as well as an ammunition clip, according to court documents reviewed by the Daily News.
He had been released on $5,000 bail on June 29.
No arrests have been made at this time, but sources told the outlet that two men were seen fleeing in a grey sedan after shots were fired.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
