VIDEO: Man pistol-whipped and struck with car in Inwood robbery

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 30-year-old man was pistol-whipped, brutally beaten and hit with a car during a robbery on an Inwood street corner Monday.

According to police, the victim was walking at the corner of 9th Avenue and West 203 Street at around 5:40 p.m. when he was approached by three unidentified male individuals wearing masks and demanding his property.

The first and second suspects pistol whipped the man in the head, causing a laceration before removing his yellow necklace from around his neck.

Police said when the victim tried to flee, the third suspect chased the victim with his vehicle and struck him, causing him to fall down to the street.

The first two suspects then punched and kicked the victim and fled to parts unknown.

The victim was transported NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem for a laceration to the head and scratches about the body and was listed in stable condition, authorities said.

Cops said the first suspect is described as a male, having a medium build and last seen wearing all blue clothing with "G-Star" written on his chest and had a firearm in his hand.

The second suspect is described as a male, with a medium build, and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

Police said the third suspect, also a male, drove a dark-colored Audi with NJ temporary license plate #X308225.
