Man robbed at gunpoint on Bronx subway train; 4 suspects sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for four suspects who are sought in connection with an armed robbery that happened on a Bronx subway train earlier this week, authorities said.

At 2:45 a.m. on Monday, a 39-year-old man was aboard a northbound 2 train at the 233rd Street station in Wakefield when he was approached by two unidentified males and two unidentified females, police said.

One of the men produced a handgun and the rest of the suspects acted in concert to take the victim's iPhone 13 Max, iPhone X, Apple Watch, AirPods, and wallet, which contained $20 and ID, according to officials.

Cops said the suspects ordered the victim to detrain at the 233rd Street station.

The suspects detrained at the Wakefield-241st Street station.
