VIDEO: Man robs Lower Manhattan 7/11 employee at gunpoint

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released surveillance footage of an armed man wanted for robbing a 7/11 store in the Financial District earlier this week, authorities said.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 3, the suspect entered the 7/11 store, located at 88 Greenwich Street, and displayed a gun to the employee inside prior to demanding cash from the register, police said.

The suspect took $100 from the register before fleeing the location on foot, in an unknown direction, officers said.

There were no injuries incurred as a result of the incident.
