NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man shot another driver who punched him through his car window during a road-rage altercation in Queens on Thursday night, police said.
The two men got into a traffic dispute on Queens Boulevard, near 65th Place, in Woodside around 8 p.m.
One of them got out of a car and punched the other through the window of his car, police said.
The second man then got out of his car and shot the man, according to police.
The shooting victim suffered a gunshot wound to his stomach but was expected to survive, WABC reported.
The shooter fled the scene, police said.

A string of shootings in Brooklyn on Thursday night also left six people wounded in under two hours. PIX11 reported that the six victims included three teens.
