
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — A man was shot in the groin late Thursday afternoon in the Bronx, police said.

Cops said the shooting happened just before 5 p.m. near 880 Thieriot Ave. in the Soundview section of the borough.
The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
News 12 reports the victim reportedly ran through the Story Avenue playground after being shot.
According to authorities, four teenage suspects who were last seen wearing all black are still on the loose.
Police said an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
