Man sought in shootings of Bronx gas station worker, PPA officer arrested in Philly: officials

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man sought for two random shootings in the Bronx and Philadelphia last month was arrested on Wednesday, authorities announced.

Termaine Saulsbury, 39, was taken into custody in the 5500 block of Girard Avenue, officials said.

He is accused of shooting Zulfigar Alvi, a Sunoco gas station worker who was allegedly shot in the head by Saulsbury on Nov. 22.

Timothy McKenzie, a 37-year-old Philadelphia Parking Authority officer was also shot at point-blank range on Nov. 25. McKenzie was hit in the ear and shoulder by Saulsbury, police said.

Saulsbury has a criminal history that dates back to 2001. He has been accused of weapons violations, an armed robbery as well as an attack on prison guards while serving a sentence in 2016.
