Man stabbed at Port Authority subway station: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was stabbed by another man inside the Port Authority subway station in Manhattan on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

Around 4 p.m., the 36-year-old victim was cut by a woman he appeared to know on the mezzanine of the 42nd Street-Eighth Avenue station, officials said.

The attacker ran in an unknown direction, and no arrests have been made, police said.

The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.

An investigation remains ongoing.
