Man stabbed in arm near UES subway entrance: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was stabbed close to an entrance of an Upper East Side subway station on Thursday afternoon.

The victim was stabbed in the arm at 1:52 p.m. near 166 East 63rd St., just outside an entrance to the Lexington Ave.-63rd Street subway station, police said.

He was transported to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and is expected to survive. Neither his age nor his identity has been released at this time.

Cops said the suspect fled on foot, southbound on 3rd Avenue.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
