The man walked into the basement of the Sixth Avenue McDonald’s, near Union Square, around 10:55 a.m., and proceeded to remove “multiple wallets” containing the credit cards from an employee break room, police said.
He then used the stolen cards to buy food from the location.
The surveillance footage shows the man with food wearing an “I love New York” t-shirt.
