NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a man who threatened a food delivery person in the Bronx earlier this month, authorities said.
At about 10 a.m. on Monday, October 17, a 32-year-old man was making a food delivery in front of 1212 Grand Concourse in Concourse when he was approached by the suspect who engaged him in a verbal dispute outside of the location.
The suspect was receiving a food delivery from a different and uninvolved food delivery worker at the location.
The suspect entered the building and shortly returned outside.
He then displayed a firearm at the victim and made verbal threats to harm him, officials said.
The victim was able to flee the location to safety without being injured. The suspect fled back into the building.
The firearm displayed was never discharged during this incident, the NYPD said.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
