NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A man’s nose and eye sockets were broken in a horrifying attack at a McDonald’s drive-through in Brooklyn last week, police said Thursday as they released images of the suspect.

The 65-year-old victim was brutally assaulted as he was waiting for food at the drive-thru window of the McDonald’s at Flatlands Avenue and E. 76th Street in Canarsie last Thursday morning.

He was sitting in his car just after 1:30 a.m. when a man in a black Infiniti Q50 behind him got out and walked up to his car, police said.

The man started some sort of argument with the victim, it's unclear about what.

During the exchange, the Infiniti driver reached into the victim’s car and pummeled him in the face, police said.

He then fled the scene on foot, leaving the Infiniti at the drive-thru, according to police.

The beating left the victim with a broken nose and two broken eye sockets.

EMS transported him in stable condition to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
