NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A mother and her young son were run down by a man on an e-bike near City Hall, police said Friday as they released an image of the suspect, who fled the scene of the crash.
The 42-year-old mom was pushing her 2-year-old son in a stroller at Park Place and Broadway in Tribeca at 8:30 a.m. last Saturday when they were hit steps from City Hall Park.
Police said the mom was in the crosswalk and had the right of way when she was mowed down by a man riding south on Broadway.
The collision knocked over the stroller, throwing the boy to the ground, police said.

The e-bike operator fled the scene and was last seen headed northbound on Broadway, against the flow of traffic, according to police.
EMS transported the mom and son to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where they were listed in stable condition.
The suspect is believed to be a Grubhub food delivery driver, police said.
In a statement, Grubhub said it's currently investigating whether or not he is one of their drivers.
