Motorcyclist, 24, killed, driver critical after collision in Brooklyn: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad is investigating after a motorcyclist was killed and another driver hospitalized in a vehicle crash in Brooklyn on Sunday evening.

At around 5 p.m. police responded to a 911 call of a vehicle collision at Clarendon Road and Ralph Avenue in the East Flatbush neighborhood.

A preliminary investigation determined that a 2012 Infinity traveling southbound on Ralph Avenue struck a 2021 Talon motorcycle also traveling in the same direction.

Joshua Dixon Taylor, 24, was operating a Talon motorcycle and transported to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The 25-year-old man driving the Infinity was taken to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition.

An investigation remains ongoing.
