NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A New York City-based influencer boasting tens of thousands of followers on Instagram was arrested Monday for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend.
Genie Exum, 22, was involved in a verbal dispute with the victim inside an apartment on 10th Avenue in Midtown around 6:45 p.m., police said.
According to authorities, the argument quickly escalated when Exum grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her boyfriend in the back and arm.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he is expected to recover from his injuries.
Exum was arrested without incident and charged with assault.
