According to Southampton Town Police, the incident happened around around 6:36 p.m on Long Beach Road on Sag Harbor.

Stacy Marie Engman and the driver were arguing on Long Beach Road in Sag Harbor when Engman began pulling on the driver's arms and attempted to grab the steering wheel while the car was moving.

Engman's actions caused the vehicle to swerve into oncoming traffic and created a substantial risk of serious physical injury to another person, police said.

After the driver parked in a Long Beach parking lot, Engman physically attacked the driver by pulling her hair, grabbing her arms and scratching her, causing visible marks on her body.

Engman has been charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation.

She was processed at Southampton Town Police Headquarters then released on an appearance ticket with a future arraignment date.
