
PATCHOGUE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — An NYPD officer was arrested in Suffolk County early Friday after he allegedly fired a gun twice in the air during a dispute with his girlfriend.

Suffolk County Police responded to an address in Patchogue around 2 a.m. and arrested Officer Miguel Torres, sources told NBC New York.
According to department records, Torres is an NYPD officer assigned to the 23rd Precinct, which covers much of East Harlem.
His duty status was not made clear at this time.
