NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested on Wednesday, weeks after he allegedly beat his girlfriend in Brooklyn.

Steven Dulcey, 28, allegedly grabbed his girlfriend by the neck, punched her in the ribs, and hit her in the face during a "domestic incident" in Williamsburg on Feb. 19, according to The New York Post.

The Post reports that the 28-year-old victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said Dulcey is charged with assault and has reportedly been suspended from the department without pay.
