NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two NYPD officers came to the rescue of a man who fell onto the tracks of a Brooklyn subway station on Tuesday, body camera footage shows.

The heroic action, which was shared on Twitter by NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell, shows the officers rushing toward the 50-year-old man as he struggles to pull himself back up onto the A train platform.

Video shows a fellow subway rider pointing to Officers Georin Duran and Irwin Luperon before the cops grab his arms and yank him to safety.

A train didn't appear to be entering the station during the rescue.

"Strategically deployed @NYPD75Pct officers were on the platform in Brooklyn's Grant Ave train station when a straphanger fell onto the tracks," Sewell wrote. "They immediately jumped into action, pulling the man to safety. Saving a fellow New Yorker — Truly NY’s Finest!"

Police said the man was transported to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.
