NYPD officer charged with rape of 15-year-old girl

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – An NYPD officer was arrested on Thursday night for the alleged rape of a 15-year-old girl in the Bronx, police said.

Ndegnior Kpan, 27, was taken into custody at his Bronx home and is charged with rape, endangering the welfare of a child and assault, police said.

Kpan has worked in the 45th Precinct for over a year and has been suspended without pay, authorities said.

His arraignment was pending on Friday.
