A 19-year-old woman exited a southbound 4 train and was walking up platform stairs to the mezzanine level when a man approached her from behind and slashed her right leg with a sharp object, police said.

Moments after attacking her, the same man went up to a 48-year-old woman who was standing on the southbound 4 platform and slashed her right leg, according to police.

The man continued his spree downtown, where a 28-year-old woman was attacked around 4:30 p.m. as she was sitting on southbound 4 train approaching the Brooklyn Bridge–City Hall station.

A man came up to her and slashed her left leg with a sharp object, police said. He then fled the train at the City Hall stop.
