NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police is looking for a group of suspects wanted in connection with a violent robbery inside a Brooklyn residence over the weekend, authorities said.
At approximately 3:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, five suspects approached a residence located in the vicinity of 4th Avenue and 94th Street in Bay Ridge.
The suspects used burglar tools to pry open a window at the location. Once inside, they entered multiple dwellings inside of the home while they were occupied by residents.
The suspects demanded property from multiple residents and successfully removed approximately $6,035 and jewelry valued at approximately $2,500, before they fled the location in an unknown direction on foot, officials said.
A 31-year-old male resident was punched in the face during the incident and was transported by EMS to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in stable condition, the NYPD said.
Police on Tuesday released a photo of one of the suspects being sought. He is described as a male with a light complexion and dark colored hair.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
