Overnight shootings in BK leave 2 injured

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two people were injured in separate Brooklyn shootings overnight, authorities said.

The first shooting occurred at 12:20 a.m. when a 54-year-old man was shot in the right shoulder in front of 460 E. 21st Street in Flatbush during a drive-by, according to police.

Gunfire came from a dark sedan and hit the victim who was taken to Kings County Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, cops said.

Hours later, at 3:50 a.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in the right hip in on Strauss Street near Lott Avenue in Brownsville, officials said.

The victim told officers he “heard shots and felt pain.” He was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made in either shooting and the investigation remains ongoing.
