Davidson was revealed to be among the buyers of a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry boat Thursday, along with friend, 'SNL' co-star and fellow Staten Island native Colin Jost. Comedy club owner Paul Italia was also part of the bid.

The city sponsored the auction for the 5,200-person capacity John F. Kennedy Ferry.

The New York Post got video of the moment when Davidson visited St. George Ferry Terminal Friday to see it in person for the first time as its owner.

“It’s crazy … we used to take that ferry to do standup all the time,” Davidson said in the video. “In a year, it’ll be a comedy club restaurant.”

Davidson posed for pics in front of the ferry and told someone passing by that he thinks it’ll be docked in Gowanus as work gets done on it, according to the clip.

The boat is in “poor condition” due to mechanical issues, but the trio’s grand plans are hoping to fix that and make it a go-to venue.

“We’re in the early stages, but everybody involved had the same ambition — not to see this thing go to the scrapyard,” Italia said.

The John F. Kennedy Ferry — once the oldest remaining boat in the Staten Island Ferry’s active fleet — transported commuters between Staten Island and Manhattan since 1965.

Mayor Eric Adams is among those onboard with the idea, tweeting, "Pete, [Colin], love this idea. What a great way to give an NYC icon a second life. Let us know how we can help and we’ll be there for the maiden voyage."
