NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released dramatic body camera footage of officers who ran inside a Bronx home engulfed in flames after an explosion on Tuesday morning, rescuing one of the two elderly female victims.

"When @NYPD41pct officers arrived at the massive explosion at a Bronx home, they saw flames spreading to the adjoining home rocked by the explosion. Knowing there was a person inside, they ran in. They found a woman trapped in the debris. Our prayers are with those affected," the NYPD said in a tweet.
Warning the video might be difficult for some viewers to watch.
In the dramatic, nearly 90-second video, officers can be seen bolting into the home on Fox Street, near Intervale Avenue, in the Longwood neighborhood, with part of the building appearing to have already collapsed and a portion on fire, then quickly rescuing one woman who appears to be wallowing in pain.

As cops move to remove her during the commotion, one is overheard saying, "One, two, let's go ... Get her over the couch ... get her out!"
A 77-year-old woman was killed and eight others were injured, including an 82-year-old woman and a 68-year-old woman.

Several officers were transported to area hospitals to be treated for smoke inhalation, police said.
FDNY Assistant Chief John Hodgens said earlier Tuesday that the blaze and building collapse were sparked by an explosion.
Authorities have not confirmed if there was a gas leak, but Hodgens said that there was at least one report of a gas smell in the area prior to the explosion.
