NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Queens man was arrested after he allegedly threatened to blow up a police station on Long Island earlier this month, authorities said.
Michael Mortman, 61, of Rockaway Park, called the Kings Point Police Department around 10:30 p.m. on May 20 and threatened to blow up the building, Nassau County police said Monday.
Mortman was arrested after detectives traced the call back to him, the department said.
The Queens resident has been charged with making a terroristic threat and second-degree aggravated harassment, police said.
His attorney information wasn’t immediately available Monday.
