
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Police said Wednesday that they’re searching for a man who goes by “Ronnie” after he repeatedly knifed a man outside a Midtown Manhattan youth shelter last week.
The suspect, who is 20 years old, was in an argument with the 21-year-old victim at 440 West 41st St. just before 10 p.m. last Thursday when the dispute turned physical, according to police.
During the fight, “Ronnie” whipped out a knife and stabbed the man multiple times in the upper body, police said.
He then fled into the Covenant House New York shelter at 460 West 41st St.
The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. He's expected to survive his injuries.
