School safety agent charged with criminal obstruction of breathing: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An off-duty NYPD school safety agent faces charges including criminal obstruction of breathing in connection with a domestic incident, the NYPD said Wednesday.

The 53-year-old school safety agent was arrested and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, criminal mischief and harassment in Brooklyn at 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, police said.

The NYPD didn’t provide any additional information about his arrest.

An investigation is ongoing.
